Lent 2023: Day 2: Goats & Sheep.

So, let's make the most of this beautiful day Since we're together, we might as well say Would you be mine? Could you be mine? Won't you be my neighbor?

Not goodbye.

It's not goodbye. It's just like she always use to say to us kids before we'd leave for school: "See you later, alligator. After while, crocodile." And give Joscelyne so…

To borrow a line from Drake: I’m more than just a number. But if I had to pick one, I’d be a 7 — not perfect, just honest about it.

I’m Alisha: 30, a Christ-follower, married to my husband Keiron, and mom to our daughter Zoe. East of Eden is where I write weekly about faith, culture, and relationships — a curious mix of the relevant and reverential, covering everything from religion and politics to pop culture to the quieter, more personal stuff.

I’m slightly off-kilter (but aren’t all “ar-teeests”?) and not your average girl. Hope you enjoy the rantings — don’t take the sarcasm too seriously, and know that comments are always welcome. Very welcome… ahem, HINT, HINT, HINT.

“A curious mix of the sacred and profane… too nice for a run of the mill blog?”
— Joe, my brother
